The Dicranurus trilobites are some of the most fascinating and bizarre trilobites ever found.
Spines and shapes vary and it's easy to see how the monstrosus species here got its name as they seem truly like small "monsters".
The specimen offered here is from the Lafhira area of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, North Africa.
They were shallow-dwelling marine animals that crawled across the prehistoric ocean floors nearly 400 million years ago.
The horns were left in the sediment if you have the equipment you can try to "dig out" more of this trilobite
