It has a fully coated optical system, with H10x and H12.5x eyepieces and 35mm 4x, 10x, 40x objectives giving powers of (40x, 100x, 400x) 10x and (50x, 125x and 500x) 12.5x. This unit uses positive click stops on the turret, a five aperture diaphragm, a plano-concave 50mm mirror, and a smooth rack and pinion focuser with a safety rack stop.
